POssible to share tethered wifi to hardwired clients

Off to a LAN this weekend which has no internet connection which we are use to.

I use to have my iPhone on USB tethered to my laptop then shared my internet connection to a few people worked well etc.

However I am not using a Nokia 925 and Microsoft in their wisdom decided to remove or not add in USB thethering to Windows Phone 8.

Obviously I can connect my laptop via wifi tethering but can I then share out the wireless connection to other machines on the network if the rest are all cabled?

You're wanting to use Internet Connection Sharing so you effectively become everyone's gateways. XP could do this easily, never done it since then though!
