Possible to tell if ram has been used?

The retailer. They have been informed and I'm sure they'll sort the RAM out. I was after the Corsair Vengeance Low Profile memory, however they sent me the standard one so a simple swap. Had a problem with the motherboard also so I'm just gonna set them both off together and hopefully they'll sort things out :)
