Chances are its using the Santa-Rosa platform. To my knowledge, 500-series Celerons aren't compatible with older chipsets...
Nay, Merom socket M. If memory serves right Santa Rosa is Socket P.
Merom-core processors are part of Santa-Rosa according to the diagrams I've seen. You must be thinking of Napa, which is the platform name (CPU + chipset + mini-PCIE wireless card).
Hello all.
Would it be possible to upgrade an Intel Celeron Mobile 530 processor to a CD2 jobby? The laptop is an Acer if that helps and socket is socket M, 478 pins.
Thanks
Could also run Cpuz. The chipset if its an older 94x one would be socket M, socket P is 96x afaik.
