Looking at maybe swapping out my CPU.

Either FX8350

or swap to intl

I5 4670K or I7 4790

Don't really overclock so doesnt really need to be a K CPU

In that case, Z97 + Xeon 1230v3 / 1231v3 would make the most sense. More performance than the AMD FX chips. I7 performance for i5 price on a relevant platform.

Yeh just for gaming and business.

I was just thinking that would i see any real benefit swapping to an i tel build?

AMD FX6300 Stock
Gigabyte 970 mobo
Zalman CPU Cooler
GSkill 8GB 1600mhz RAM
Saphire R9 290
Samsung 250GB SSD
Seagate 1TB HDD
BenQ 24" 1080 monitor

I have approx £250 + whatever I get for selling parts off this PC. Personally what would you upgrade?

If your not struggling in any games I would save my money and just overclock the FX6300 and be done with it.

gotta get a new psu ddint put that there only got a 500w OCZ atm so thats number 1.

Was debating a nice 27" 1440p monitor but yeh once i get the new psu gonna overclock the cpu to at least 4ghz

SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold"

Gigabyte 970A-UD3P

and some new speakers
