Possible Upgrade?

i haven't made any changes to my pc since the day i put it together, it has been neglected this last few months but i want to dust it off and see if there was anything worth upgrading so that i can start playing it again.

current spec below.

evga g2 750w
gigabtye hd7850
i5 33570k
1tb hhd
gigabyte z77x-d3h
corsair vengenance blue lp 8gb

1080p at the minute but wouldnt mind playing at a better resolution.

Definitely a graphics card is a decent upgrade, 390 or970 as suggested.

Also highly recommend getting an SSD, e.g. the 256gb evo

Edit: the SSD will give you a huge performance/loading times bonus (not FPS, but.. anything hdd related...) the difference is staggering.

thanks for the replys, yeah i thought an ssd might be required, i will keep that one in mind.

im not fussed on what Gpu i get as long as its a good one.

its been a while since i have read any reviews or what the new components are, im just happy to get it bought and installed lol.

Should point out that even though your machine is 3 years old (?) its still perfectly capable as it is, and will run most games just fine, although not maxed.

I know because mine is very similar and I only recently upgraded from a 7870 to a 390.

yeah its 3 years old but hasnt been used this last year.
