Possible Virus?

Hi guys,

I suspect I've been hit with a virus, but can't really be sure from googling as there seems to be some confusion online as to what it actually is. In essence it looks like a browser hi-jacker as I'll click on the link to say, Facebook and find myself redirected to the following search engine. "partner37.mydomainadvisor". Any ideas as to what this actually is?

I've tried Malwarebytes and that doesn't show anything, and the virus or whatever it is only crops up occasionally, giving me a 404 on well known sights like Facebook, Twitter and so forth.

This is in FireFox by the way.
