Possible warranty issue MSI GD65

Right, I've currently gotten an RMA set up for my MSI GD 65 as it's died on me.
However, I've got an unanswered question that I need answering, I've left it in the CS section for 2 days with no reply to this query, I'm hoping to get a reply here.

One of the PCI-E slot "retention" clips snapped off my board.

I've been waiting on a reply of ; Is this warranty void on this superficial breakage?

MSI are taking their sweet time to reply.

did you break it yourself, how long have you had it for?

if its new send it back under dsr, if its not and you did it yourself phone up ocuk
