Possible with a tv card ?

Hi

My television just decided to die on me and as i cant afford a new decent tv i was wondering if i could use a tv card instead. Onlly problem i can see with a tv card is i watch mainly sky digital so was wandering if you can connect a tv card to the sky box or would some other solution be needed?
If you can could anybody make a suggestion on a suitable tv card ?

If the tv card has S-video input, and stereo jack input, then yes through the use of a scart to s-video converter and a phone to stereo jack converter for sound.

so would the WinTV-HVR-1300 MCE-Kit or WinTV-HVR-1300 be suitable for this ? I plan to use a second monitor for displaying the tv feed is this possible ?
