After flashing X04 bios to have a play with memory settings i have had a few problems.

Problems

Plugging ext. HDD into front USB results in system crash
Constant long pause at debug code 62&64
BSODS with 0Xa and f4

what i have done

Flashed bios back to F6
Ran memtest
Re-installed win 7&8, both OS have the same symptons, i did have a few weird issues installing 7, which is why i think it could be related to USB
Tried to run sfc scannow but comes up with windows protection(@15%) put the command in to remove protection and got too 85% before it flashed up again.

I personally think i am wasting my time sorting the OS as it was fine before, so if i reinstall the OS which usb port should i use to give me least problems??

That reminds me, when installing 7 the mouse also kept dropping out, thats plugged into the usb2 ports at very top left.

I did do first time, today have re done win7 and it went ok, the stalling i'm getting at boot i think is down to memory training as once set up right then enabling fast boot makes it fly to desktop.
My external HDD is whats possibly causing problems in the OS, windows threw up a fault bubble so i ran WD hd test and it was fine, possibly doing updates would help but i dont normally do them for a benching OS.

I'll redo win8 tomoz and thats what needs to be perfect as its my 24/7 do it all
OS.
