this could well be the most stupid question ive ever asked, please feel free to destroy me if you think this question is stupid..
here it goes...

if i got an E6600 from germany (or any foreign country for that matter), would the processor work 100% with a motherboard bought from the United Kingdom?

i spose this question can go with any hardware really.

please...be gentle

first you will have to teach the processor to speak English. Then you will have to teach the motherboard to speak German. When they marry, the german processor can get an english passport as well!! ;-)

(I'm sure it will work fine!!)

Haha!

There are so many opening for one liners here, but i shall reeeesssiiiisst(ance)

I think, I may be wrong, that the only component you would have a problem with merging with uk gear is the power supplies, different countries have a habbit of using difference voltages etc

It will work fine. But you'll be forever wondering why your computer defaults to the german team in WW2 games :)

He's using a UK psu i think, so nothing needs to be done. Maybe just the diagnostic voice on the MObo will be in german...
