Thats fine.
A samsung 830 128GB SSD is cheaper![]()
Adding to the above, 16GB of RAM will make no difference to 8GB RAM when gaming.
Might I suggest this if you could possibly extend your budget; The extra 300mbps write speed may be helpful and Intel is a great brand.

Stick with the i7It's for gaming and I'm a software engineer. So heavy CPU usage.
Would this actually be a noticeable increase in performance.
The Samsung is 320MB/s the Intel is 500MB.s so that's a 180MB/s increase.
seriously im sick of reading peoples posts saying "get the i5 for gaming you wont see an improvement" really? i know that like everyone else who is interested knows that but if a dude wants an i7 for gaming let him get an i7 its his money, he can get what he wants. its common knowledge now that the i7 is roughly the same performance as an i5 in gaming so please stop telling people to get an i5 over an i7 if they originally want the i7.
I know it's their money, but we're advising them to get the i5 for a reason - so the saved money could be spent on a better graphics card or motherboard etc...
