New built PC (built on Saturday, been using the pc since but had the problem since then to)

System Spec:
CPU - QX6700
GFX - 8800GTX
RAM - Corsair XMS2 Dominator PC6400C4
Mobo - eVGA nForce 680i

When i turn on the PC for the first time i keep getting C1 error (which as far as im aware is memory isnt it?)
Well i can by-pass this by pressing the reset button on the case and it runs fine after that untill the next day when i go to turn it on (I only ever turn the pc on at about 2pm when i get in from work and its on untill i go to bed at 11/12)

Iv updated the motherboard driver but that hasnt seemed to work...
I have changed the RAM timings and volt to the spec it should be (from 5-5-5-18 to 4-4-412) and changed the CPU multiplayer from x7 to the norm x10... but still this problem comes about...

not a BIG problem but would be nice to not have to press the reset button when you turn on the pc

any ideas?

A C1 error is a memory detect error. Make sure your RAM is installed correctly, if no joy, try just one stick, then the other and see if it works.

Also, if you can get into the BIOS make sure you have all the correct settings including the voltage.

I can get into the BIOS no prob, im using the computer now without probs, its just on start-up for the first time of the day it seems to do it

could i try uping the voltage? could that help? it says on OCUK corsair spec for this ram is between 1.9 and 2.3v, i have it at 2.00 i think
