Post deletion

Probably won't get picked up in the other thread but it seems my post in the RDR thread was deleted without explanation. There was nothing wrong with it and didn't break any forum rules.

What was the reason?

Obviously, the mods are the mods round here and do what they need to to keep the forum running as it is, but at least give an explanation when deleting a thread.

I contribute when/where I can just like everyone else on here and find it ridiculous to then find what I've posted removed without reason.

If these types of threads which are posted as a result aren't wanted then leave a message why it was removed. I wouldn't mind if it was a two word reply that was breaking a rule, but this was a pretty lengthy post about the game.

Probably better to email a mod? Most likely Thundycat if it's in here. Did you have spoilers in your post?

I'd rather not but thanks for the suggestion. A simple reason (including which rule I've broken) would suffice. At least then I know not to break it again next time.

Best to email a Don, it's the quickest way to get a response. Not sure why you're adverse to doing this though.

Posting a "Why was my post/thread deleted?" thread is far more likely to cause issues than just e-mailing a mod and asking.
