As title, when I turn on the PC, the packard bell logo comes up then its meant to display the post (if thats the right way of saying it, I dunno ) then show the windows logo as windows loads.

But post isn't being displayed, it goes from the packard bell logo, to a blank screen for a second or so then to the windows loading screen.

Any ideas?

Ah, what I should have put was, it used to show up after the pack bell logo. But since changing the hd and installing windows its ran away.

But I'll have a lookey at the splash screen in the bios as you say, maybe something in there.

Ok theres nothing about splash screens in the bios, but there is quick boot which is enabled, although I don't remember doing it, ghosts in the machine maybe.

Anyway would I need to disable this? though I'd ask instead of jumping in and messing around with stuff.

Weird, disabled quick boot, exited from the bios, the packard bell logo came up and there it stayed, it wouldn't go any further.

So back into bios and instead of going to, exit - save changes etc, I pressed the esc key and saved without making any changes, (as quick boot was already disabled) it did post and show it all fine and loaded windows.
Got to the desktop, restarted to see if it would work and nope its disappeared again lol

This is not a major problem as were planning on gettnig a new pc anyway, and the pc is working fine at the moment.
Just I want to get it working how it should be. :p
