I saw this website advertised on a program the other day. Basically it's a site which has been setup which details children with dibilating and serious illness. The aim of the site is to email/post a card or present and generally send goodwill messages. The addresses for the children provided are forwarding addresses to ensure safety safety.
Tonight was the first time I actually had the nerve to read some of these children's stories. The parents provided updates and it really is very moving. Having kids myself, this site proper humbles me and makes me realise how fortunate my children are. I have only read the about the first 2 children and I am feeling very teary and I have a lump in my throat. I can't read anymore of them this evening.
