Not sure if this has been done before but what the heck, if it has then just lockdown the thread please.

Download this client "Uptime-Client++ [Windows 9x/NT/ME/2000/XP/2003]" - http://en.uptime-project.net/page.php?page=download , extract into a folder, double click on client,

Register here http://en.uptime-project.net/page.php?page=login&content=register

Once registerd they will send you an e-mail with a link to activate your account, once this is done open your "uptime client" enter your username and password and hit "update" and minimize, logon here http://en.uptime-project.net/page.php?page=login select "uptime images" on the left hand side, choose you uptime skin, then cut and paste "BB (Board Code)" on here to show your uptime,

This *should* calculate your uptime from when you last reset your machine.

Here's Mine :p

The above uptime BB Boardcode (Uptime skin) should update every 30mins so you will not need to repost new uptimes.

Gosh that's a silly way to do it if you just want the uptime, that site's good though if you want it in a sig or something.

Just do this:

Start > run > cmd

Then type in this:

systeminfo | @find "System Up Time:"

Mine's 1 Days, 19 Hours, 40 Minutes, 53 Seconds

And my server (500mhz) Linux - 25 days so far and still going solid :)

Well, heres mine :)

C:\Documents and Settings\Craig>systeminfo | @find "System Up Time:"
System Up Time: 11 Days, 0 Hours, 29 Minutes, 4 Seconds

Edit: One of our servers at work has an uptime very close to one year, our main router has over a year's worth of uptime :D

Yes I know you can do it that way but theres no point as your uptime will not autoupdate like mine will, I can just leave my post now and it will auto update my uptime througth the BB Boardcode thats linked to the uptimeprojects system, plus it helps filter out cheaters.

If you're sad enough to want to 'cheat' your uptime, find an old PC, start it up and put it on hibernate for a year. When you wake it up it will count the year as uptime.

Why would you want to leave your computer on for a year??

Mine sometimes is on for 4 or 5 days nothing spectacular. Its about 3 hours at the min because i had a restart earlier!

+44

58 minutes!

oddly I've never really been one to leave it turned on if I'm not using it and I never use Peer to peer stuff so rarely any need.

Quite why anyone would want to cheat is a bit odd.. it doesn't increase the size of your manhood the longer your pc has been on :p

Time Since Start-Up : 2 days(s) 2 hour(s) 9 minutes(s) 23 seconds(s)

Yeah, as I said it's a good script if you're wanting to e.g. make a sig from it or something.

Only problem is... it runs in the background ;)
