For a 2 bed flat (just me living here), early 2000s build, mine is:

2020:
Gas: 7135 kWh
Elec: 1776 kWh

2021:
Gas: 7821 kWh
Elec: 1474 kWh

2022:
Gas: 6879 kWh
Elec: 1551 kWh

2023:
Gas: 7738 kWh
Elec: 1575 kWh

2024:
Gas: 6382 kWh
Elec: 1397 kWh

How about you? Smug responses from people with renewables welcome, if you could include your gross usage minus generated energy that might be interesting.

Edit - updated for 2024 actuals.

Averaged my readings from last 441 days gives me:
Gas - 7774kwh
Electric - 2967kwh

1920s Three bedroom semi, with terrible insulation. Gas hob, electric shower, gas central heating. Two adults wfh full time.

You're doing alright on the gas. My insulation is also terrible I believe.

Cant get into EON to check last year but I have a bill dated 1st Dec 2021 so I can at least give a full years usage:

1st Dec 2021 - 1st Dec 2022

Gas - 2616 kWh (232 m³ of gas)
Elec - 978 kWh.

3 bed semi.

How come it’s so low? New build? Insulation? Renewables?

Scottish Power sent me an "Important!" email about my new energy prices to tell me that electricity costs were going down slightly and I would save the princely sum of £6 per year over the previous estimate. Thanks guys!

Electric 2020-2021-5458kwh
Gas 2020-2021-7993kwh

2021-2022
elec 5845kwh
gas 3750kwh

3 bed end terrace, gas ch 9 rads, elec cooking, elec shower, single glazed sashes secondary glazed (apart from 2)
How did you slash your gas usage so much?

May 2023 usage:
Gas: 308.1kWh
Elec: 128.33kWh

It cost me a rather nice £69, next cheapest month this year was £109 and most expensive (January) was £167.

I’m on 5,079.79 kWh gas and 1,173 kWh electricity to the end of September. I seem to have used more electricity compared to the past two years but the pattern seems to be the same. Will probably end up with the same sort of usage by the end of the year.

In rented so can’t do anything to improve efficiency.

Exciting news ladies and gents! The results for 2023 are in:

2020:
Gas: 7135 kWh
Elec: 1776 kWh

2021:
Gas: 7821 kWh
Elec: 1474 kWh

2022:
Gas: 6879 kWh
Elec: 1551 kWh

2023:
Gas: 7738 kWh
Elec: 1575 kWh

Think this year was a little bit colder than last year so gas usage has spiked back up to 2021 levels. Seems to be similar usage most years but now costing a lot more. :D

Early update for 2024:

2024:
Gas: 6382 kWh
Elec: 1397 kWh

I moved at the start of the month so will be interesting to see what the new house is like versus the flat. Electricity use will be slightly lower as the shower is a boiler fed mixer bar, rather than an electric shower.
