Post your antec 300 lad's ;)

On looks alone, the 300 is still by far my choice. The 100 looks better built with more features though. Each to their own, but I'll stick with my 300. I prefer something modded to make it better rather than something stock. :p

I bought my 300 because it looks subtly flash and badass.

Installing parts and making it tidy it was a whole new experience.

Changes since:
Did away with the bungee suspended hard drive, it's screwed in with the storage drive because I can't be bothered with it naymore.

To do list:
SATA Optcal Drive
Cut holes for better cable management
Get some of those flashy nice looking braided extension cables
Remove the masking tape >_>
Respray inside black?

And yeah I'll get some new components some other time. Q6600 and 5770 are fine for now.
Sound proof it, the noise sometimes...

What proportion of people take a dremel to their cases? Looks like a lot of you... I mean, I read the TBCS worklogs a fair bit, but they're being arty...this just seems practical modification.

Nope...it's ******* useless.

I got the dampening kit for free though, so I can't complain too much.

Save your money mate :)

Oh well cant really complain if it was free. I've sorted out the noise issue now i've got myself an NZXT Sentry LXE external have 4 fans connected and 4 temperature probes and its nice and quiet got all 3 fans running at 500rpm only thing i can notice noise from is memory cooler may have 2 small fans on but they are still loud.

This case is more appealing to me on looks just wish it had better cable management dont really fancy taking any cutting tools to it.

Heres my modded one (hdd mountings removed) its nothing special so wont bombard you with boring external pics as it looks standard from the outside :)

Its a dedicated folding@home machine so the graphics card is just a crappy ATI x300 so I can push maximum PPD out of the i7 970 hex core @ 4.4ghz.

For those that are interested its producing ~63,000 PPD running bigadv work units :D

Lovely little machine. Love how you've fit everything inside.

Pictures are terrible and it doesnt do it justice but atleast it shows what ive been upto today. Reckon ive done a pretty good job of cable management considering theres 3 HDDs, one of them IDE and also the stupid positioning of the 24 pin cable.

Next on the mod list will be a window, And hopefully along with that ill knock up a little piece of metal to whack in that big gap at the bottom right, will probably look a lot tidier.

I've often looked at my 300 and would never have thought that there would be enough room behind the MB and side panel for the psu cables. Do you get any bulge on the side panel?

Made a hole in case by motherboard for cable management. Can still see the cables but at least they are not all in front of the hdd bays now nicely tucked to the side. Only thing is as i have the NZXT Sentry LXE External fan controller there is a lot more cables showing for the fans and temp probes. Routed some of them down the motherboard by the gpu's and down the side by the blanking plates. A lot better than it was. Will need a bigger case if i want to add more components.

A hidden mess of cables.

Its an OCZ ram cooler with 2 fans i had it in old pc and didnt want to throw it. Didnt think ram would be cool enough without it. I have Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz installed. Just noticed on some of the previous pics. Some of you have 4 lots of ram sticks does that not effect performance i know my board is dual channel didnt think you could fill them all (haven't got a clue about ram).
