Here's mine, reduced to 1024 width.

I don't use any fancy launcher at all, when my Mac starts fresh (which doesn't happen often) there's hardly anything in the dock at all. You'll notice in my screenshot that everything is active, I very rarely close anything!

I use spotlight to open applications and documents 99% of the time.

I've just thrown the demo of Launchbar on to try it and it's already frustrating me. I open an application called "Aether" daily and the way I normally do it is to tap cmd-space and then start typing the name of the file I open within Aether, ie "logbook". Launchbar is totally failing to find logbook. Similarly, I open a document called "HF Bands" which is a Pages document regularly, when I start typing in Launchbar it clears the search after HF when I hit space and then searches on Bands instead.

It doesn't seem to find anything in my documents folder and I can't find anywhere that I can check what it's searching. What am I missing?
