I'm currently looking into a christmas upgrade and at the moment my processor of choice would be the E6300. I have been looking around and some people are getting monster overclocks on these chips. [To all E6300 owners] I would like to know what your maximum super pi stable overclock is. So this is a chance for you all to show off a bit :p .

Thanks for any info

Jonny

I am at 3.3ghz at the moment clearing 32meg SuperPI.
Not tried further, pretty happy where I am

3.01ghz...only ever-so-slightly upped volts, and very occasionally it takes ages to shut down (or won't). Could probably do with updating the Bios, still on on F4 (DS4)

BTW thats with Geil Ultra and an Arctic Freezer Pro 7 as well...nothing I do makes it go above 50c

3Ghz all day long, and at stock CPU volts, but with +0.1v on chipset and RAM.

My Value RAM is holding me back now I think, but to upgrade that, and with prices at their current level, I'm thinking of just upgrading the CPU.

What would you upgrade the cpu to? As the next step up in real performance would be an E6600 and they are more expensive than some good ram. They would also still be limited by your value ram, Geil ram is on offer at OCUk at the moment.
