Used almost solely for streaming massive files over gigabit, so way more performance than I really need. (I get around 800Mbit/s SMB transfers to my gaming box without jumbo frames or any special tweaks) It flies through RAR extractions and PAR checks though :D

have no idea whats good compared to other similar drives, nor do i know what burst rate is, i do know access time and transfer rate [pretty self explanatory lol]

i was quite pleased with my £100 WD VR 300GB purchase
second drive just for blu ray storage

both have just been installed, nothing else, will get an ssd if 80gb comes in at under £100 one day lol
