Used almost solely for streaming massive files over gigabit, so way more performance than I really need. (I get around 800Mbit/s SMB transfers to my gaming box without jumbo frames or any special tweaks) It flies through RAR extractions and PAR checks though

have no idea whats good compared to other similar drives, nor do i know what burst rate is, i do know access time and transfer rate [pretty self explanatory lol]

i was quite pleased with my £100 WD VR 300GB purchase
second drive just for blu ray storage

both have just been installed, nothing else, will get an ssd if 80gb comes in at under £100 one day lol
