Yes I know, but RAID 1 tends to be slower normally than a single drive. I was just pointing out that mine are the Blue versions, and your Black is not any faster.

I bought an OCZ SSD. Advertised as an V2, but its a V1 with V2 upgrades! Works a treat though...access times are awesome in the real world, like in the benchmarks!

Gonna try and get another one next week and RAID0 them as 30GB really isn't enough!

yes very odd maybe because Im in ide mode ? no idea but looks like the blacks are no better than the dual platter blue's apart from the 5 year warranty
