Post your iPhone battery stats here!

Done a DFU reset which gave me approx 1 hour extra usage (5 hours) so thought i'd take it to the Applestore (Bromley) just for reassurance.

The genius guy found my battery to be faulty and said they would replace the battery in store which may take approx 30 mins. I asked if this would also fix the intermittent 3G issues I was having, he then asked me if I would like the phone exchanged....oh go on then..very helpful chap :)

Much better :D

How this seem to you guys ?

The latest os beta. Turned most location setting off and only contacts and find my iphone on cloud?

Above seems pretty rubbish. and it has been plugged in since last full charge

Mine on 7.0.2 is currently sitting at 38%

Usage - 5 hours, 27 minutes
Standby - 1 day, 8 hours

I will typically get 7hrs usage with 24hrs standby. iPhone 5 64GB.

Bluetooth on, brightness at 50% (auto-dim off) and limited location services selected.

I had to just plug mine in, as it went down to 7%, but the stats were;

Usage: 2 Hours 40 Minutes
Standby: 7 Hours 31 Minutes

Need to sort out the battery, won't last a full day without charging it at work anymore!

^ what iphone?
I have location services off, manual fetch email, auto updates off, reduced motion, increased contrast. Generally all the crap off that doesnt tan the battery and i dont need

Trying not to state the obvious but ultimately doing so, but I think it's worth mentioning that turning off Location Services won't make a difference to the battery life you get if those services aren't being used. Eg. if Evernote is set to use Location Services but I never use that app, it makes no difference whether I have it enabled or not.

I'd say to leave Location Services on but turn off the ones that you will reasonably not need. I personally turn off all the System Services aside from Setting Time Zone (don't even need that), Traffic, and Compass Calibration. The rest of my apps are enabled, but that's purely because many of them are location-based (or I want the location, eg. Evernote).

I have my email set to Fetch every 30 minutes (two accounts), and have Background App Syncing turned off for everything aside from Google Maps (you can turn off Weather it seems, the Notification Centre weather info will still update). By doing this, I'm not wasting battery syncing stuff more frequently than required (I don't need Evernote to sync constantly), but things that need to run in the background still will (eg. Google Maps will track my location in the background as a sat-nav).

Can't report back on battery life as my phone hasn't actually left the house.

You can, just leave it for 2 days without charging it. I didnt use any location services so might as well turn it off until needed. E.g. Sat nav using maps

If that's the case I'd just turn on Location Services and just turn them all off apart from your mapping app of choice. Accomplishes exactly the same thing but you don't need to put any effort in to change it!

My usage pattern at the minute mostly involves the thing being off while I leave the house :D Will report back on Monday with some rough estimates compared with my previous Nexus 4 :) Main things I've noticed so far, however, are that Wi-Fi and 3G signal strength are both poorer than the Nexus 4, and that as with previous iOS releases, Wi-Fi is turned off when the phone is slept. As per usual, the smaller battery means that the iPhone charges extremely quickly - a short charge that would make no difference on my Nexus 4 can mean a substantial increase in runtime for the iPhone.

iPhone 5 - will turn off more bits that I probably don't need, but even then, i'd expect more than 10-12 hours, but hey-ho!

Have read doing a fresh install/restore helps, but will try it with a lot more things turned off/deactivated etc.

iPhone 5s on iOS 7.0.2

LTE on all the time
Most location services off
Siri off
Auto brightness on
Push email off (all on manual)
iCloud sync on
