Hey all,

I've recently moved to the Mac arena, and am loving it.

One of the things I love most about the Operating System is the Menu Bar apps

I am using a few at the moment - but I am curious as to what other apps people are using

So if would please post a screenshot of your Menu Bar and list (from left to right) what apps they are

Here is mine...

(From Left to Right)
Synergy - iTunes Control App
MagicPrefs - Allows for additional trackpad/mouse gestures (For instance, I use it so I can use three-finger press as a middle button gesture so that I can use it to open links in a new tab in Firefox)
GMail Notifier - Checks for new emails every minute
gfxCardStatus - Allows me to change from the Integrated Graphics to Dedicated Graphics (Very good as I keep Skype on all the time and it usually wants Dedicated which caused my Macbook to heat up a lot)

OSX Display Preferences
Volume Control
Battery Control
Date/Time
Spotlight

Left to right: Last Fm, Skitch, Linkinus, Twitter, Dropbox, Alfred, Log Me in, Evernote, MobileMe thing.

Agreed, although of those posted I think both Dropbox and Twitter can be configured with black icons.

Quite a boring one from me, I don't like clutter so I've turned the Bluetooth icon off, as well as Time Machine, the only non-standard ones there are:

iStat Menus (it's displaying the date, that's all. I have it there as an easy shortcut into iStat Menus itself if every I want to. When I click on it I get a simple calendar, current moon phase and the four American time zones)

I run my own OpenVPN server on an offshore VPS; the primary concern in my case is privacy, so delegating the VPN service to a third party defeats the point somewhat!

That said, I've used StrongVPN in the past and would recommend them as a commercial provider

Sorry, I'm new to Macs. What's all this about? As you can imagine, typing "Mac arena" into google is pretty fruitful if you like crap old songs!

I've just got my first Mac and love how there are apps that use the top menu bar

Macbook Pro:
