Recently a topic popped up in the PC games section with an individuals gaming benchmarks. Needless to say, it got flamed to hell. But it got a few of us thinking how useful/interesting it would be to see benchmarks from OcUK users, all in one thread.

So, post your system specs and recorded benchmarks here. Please, only constructive criticism and no flaming!

Free benchmarking tips/tools (feel free to post yours!):
- Fraps is a benchmarking, screen capture, and real-time video capture utility for DirectX and OpenGL applications. In combination with free game demos, it can be a great way to benchmark performance.
- The Crysis Benchmark Tool enables benchmarking of Crysis. It works with retail and demo versions.
- Unigine Heaven DirectX 11 benchmark 2.1, the first DirectX 11 benchmark.
- Stone Giant, a popular DirectX 11 benchmark.

Can someone, OP maybe put up a list of the benchmarking tools we can use for free?

I have Dirt 2 so am assuming it is in the game. My only other tool I have found I have is Far Cry 2.

ta.

Was hoping some people could suggest some...

I will add them to the original post once I get a list together.

Going to run 3Dmark Vantage laters and will post here.

I'd like a bigger screen as well but tbh, I can't stand the quality of sub £200 ones. And I'm not sure if upgrading to U2311H would be a decent enough upgrade. It would cost me some £100-120 to upgrade to that.

OP question, should we bench at the best overclocks we can achieve or the "everyday" ones? :)

Why not both :). It is always interesting to see the difference.

Currently not overclocked here, but this has got me wanting to overclock again!
