Thought this would be a good thread for us PC gamers to post our Retro Systems and Games the one's we've kept from years past, purchased recently or looking to buy. ((( NO NEW GAMES ! ))


Today I just got this for £35 from Level Up games in Canterbury, been looking everywhere for one :cool:

Amiga 500 :D

However I was a bit upset :( So many games i've kept for well over 10years no longer work when I got them from the loft today *disk corrupt* or garbled boot screens. I was able to play some two player games with my brother those that worked :D. Now the Amiga 500 is back in storage for keepers just need an external drive, 1meg extension, Deuteros/Dragons Breath game
 
I used to have an Amiga too :) I remember Lemmings, but my fav was IK Karate:


Before that I had a ZX Spectrum 48K and played Manic Miner and such 24/7. Sadly those machines are long gone now and I have no pics :(
 
I need to retrieve my ZX Spectrum +2 from my parents along with 2 boxes of tapes and a datel disk drive, would love to have a shot with some of the games again!
 
I had a Atari that took casettes (that look like music tape cassettes).

Unfortunately its stuck in the attic and I can't remember what it looks like so looking on google is not helping.

I also have some old big box pc games - total annihilation, tomb raider, red alert, pinball construction kit, dogz, need for speed 2, moto racer of which I can remember.
 
Even though i've got this Amiga and it will probably remain unplayed stacked away to be handed down in the family, i'll still be getting a few things :)

Though it is always nice to have nearly 4gb of amiga hd games playable on the pc with filters and surround sound :D
 
Got an Amiga 500+ in my parents loft, the cartoon classics edition. Disk1 of the Simpsons vs the space mutants is well and truly worn out!

I really should retrieve it as they keep threatening to bin it all! :eek:
 
Get it out now!, atleast you can give it a good test and take some photo's

I'm the only one who's done photo's so far :(
 
If my Amiga 1200 and its monitor wasn't in my cellar I'd post pictures of it. Recently found my 8mb upgrade for my A1200 aswell.
 
In my loft I have the following;

1 x ZX Spectrum 16k + 32k RAM pack
2 x ZX Spectrum 48k
100+ original games for the above
Thermal printer and Kempston Joystick interface

1 x Atari 800XL + tape drive + graphics tablet + numerous games on tape and cartridge

1 x Atari 1040ST + numerous accessories and games

1 x Amiga 500
1 x Amiga 1200 with 120MB HDD
External disk drive plus games and joysticks

I'm a hoarder Neil, keep threatening to get them out and show the kids what gaming used to be like though.

All of them were originally mine (including the Binatone) apart from the Atari 1040ST which I was given in the late 90's "to dispose of" by a customer who had just got a PC.
 
I just spunked! £35 for all that?

Is Level up games a southern chain? We only have CEX really and that's rubbish. No old stuff. Even charity shops only sell stuff going back to PS1 around here :(

You could easily sell those games alone for £50
