This might be a total waste of time but I think it's worth a try.

It was pointed out to me today how much I've caught the sun this year. I haven't really sat out in the sun and sunbathed at all, it's not really something I do. I've not been away on holiday and I've not aimed to get a tan. I did spend a weekend on a boat where the weather was nice and that may have helped.

I just spend a reasonable amount of time outdoors and I have picked it up well this year.

I took my watch off and was really quite surprised just how tanned I am.

I wear flip-flops for about 8months of the year. My flip-flop tan is coming along nicely.

What sort of boat was that? It looks like an oil tanker.

You've still got a way to go for a proper 'fisherman's tan' though.
 
I've had a tan about 3 / 4 times this year so far but it keeps fading, i'll post mine when i get back from Ibiza in October :D
