There are a few threads on this but most are quite old. I'm looking to purchase a monitor and the seller wants a door-2-door service.

Parcelforce lists monitors as excluded from compensation due to 'their inherent nature are particularly susceptible to damage'.
DHL max box dimensions of 70 x 70 x 70cm and only covers you for £25 unless you pay a decent amount more.
DPD lists 'Computer Monitor/Monitors/Imac' as items they won't carry and they can cancel your delivery/pickup.

Any recommendations? You'll only know how good a company is when things go wrong.

Another vote for UPS here. reasonable prices and covered by their insurance up to £1000 (if you add additional cover when you book)

edit: oh, and don't use Evri / My Hermes, hopeless
