Just a heads up for those who're interested in this. Running With Scissors have set up a Portal 2 greenlight page on Steam.

Not a game for everyone, certainly, but lets try and get a better Postal game than Postal 3 onto Steam! Remember the game being great for LAN parties years ago, just because it was so over the top and ridiculous. Those were the days!

Important Q&As:
Q: Will it include the Apocalypes Weekend and Share The Pain Multiplayer add-on pack?
A: Yes, POSTAL 2 COMPLETE means the full package!

Q: Will you include achievements?
A: We would like to, at this early stage we are not sure how feasible it is on the engine we used. We are looking into it now, as soon as we know we will update this page.

Q: Will the Steam version of POSTAL 2 be updated in anyway?
A: It will include wide-screen support out the box (maybe even Eyefinity), and we will be looking into other updates after release.

Q: Will there be cloud save support?
A: Maybe, if Valve allow it.

Q: Will POSTAL 2 support Steam Workshop for mods?
A: If it’s feasible and if Valve allow it, yes we will set it up.

I guess you wanted your free copy eh? :P

Q: If I own POSTAL 2 elsewhere, can I get a free Steam Key?
A: I get asked this a lot and it's a reasonable thing to expect. However, there are a few factors that stop us giving a blanket 'yes' and I believe we should be as transparent about it as possible. Firstly, we have no idea how easy Valve make it to allow you to hand out free keys for games on Steam. Other reasons we can't yet promise this is because although some older retail copies did have CD keys, we don't have a database for them. Most people that own P2 own it with out any easy way of proving ownership, so therefore it would be a full time job just to keep up with handing out individual keys, and asking each person for some kind of proof of purchase.
All that said we do believe that if you have paid for the game before it's only fair to want a free copy on Steam if it's possible, and your best chance of that happening is becoming an active member of the RWS forum over at www.runningwithscissors.com, where you'll further be helping support us.

Anyone who already owns it might get a free copy anyway :D

Sweet! Out on Steam now. I thought this game was so fun years ago.
Time for a re-install.

Now where did I put the cheat for the cat machine gun lol
