Im selling one of my boards and have a potential buyer in France. Does anyone know how much it would cost to ship a snowboard to France or where I can find out this information from?

Ok, I relisted the board after non payment. Managed to sell it to someone in the UK, but I just read on the royal mail website that only parcels with a max length of 1.5m can be shipped. The board is longer than this. I phoned citylink who said I need an account, so thats out of the question. Does anyone have any other suggestions please?

Hmmm, you could try sending it using one of the many eBay courier/collection companies.

Quite a few eBay members rate these services quite highly.

Think one of the main companies is called "Payperdrop" or something like that.

Try searching for them on eBay/Google.

Hope that helps.

when shipping goods out the UK they will either:

a) get you on weight
b) or on size..

what i mean by the above is that, whatever is higher either volumetric weight or gross weight will be used to calculate the charges...

You could try calling interlink who are very reasonable, fed ex (kind of expensive) or DHL...

Tell them the following measurements:

height, width, depth and put it on their slowest service possible...

hope that helps...

Thanks for the advice guys. Went with Interparcel in the end. £12. Made the order at 9:30, TNT came to collect it at 11:30 :D Sod the post office!
