Just posted my old system up for sale on another website. I have two concernes....

1.

It has a tuinq cooling tower, should i pack the case with anything to help stop it moving about?

2.

If i end up posting, how should i set about posting it? Should i take the Antec 1200 sized box to the post office, or can i take it into a DHL or DPD, or whoever, warehouse???

Thanks in advance.

You can book collections with whatever courier you want. You can also take them to the nearest depot if they allow you to do that. Ask their customer services first to avoid a wasted journey. Post offices can only handle upto 10kg unless its the 'main' one which I believe is upto 20kg. Its all to do with the scales they actually have!

Yep, P2G is probably your cheapest option. And yes it's probably a good idea to pack it well to stop it moving around and potentially getting damaged.

I posted a case today. just put in a box with lots of padding and sent via DHL 2day service for £8.21, and they pick it up from you.

Yes make sure that (A) Theres plenty of padding between the item and the sides of the box (B) Anything like a tower cooler is supported against shock/impact...

It may be an idea to open it up and pack the insides with something. You have to be careful, because it needs to be static free, and not leave anything in there once you remove it (so no polystyrene!).
