Posting Your Car on the Net

Ive noticed a lot of you guys blur your numberplates out when you post your cars up? Is there any particular reason you do this, or anything that would make me want to do it?

In theory they can be cloned, and used for criminal acts such as petrol station drive outs.

Sent a letter and a small fee to the DVLA and they can find out where you live.

If someone nicks a car, they might google for one of the same model and colour, have some plates made up and stick them on, voila the car they are driving is not picked up as stolen, if they get any points or anything, the person who's plates were cloned gets the blame etc

Some people get a little uptight if you post pics with their plates visable though

You forgot the other car, lol.

Cheers for the info guys. Now that I have mentioned it, I will probably be in court charged with driving up the M4 at 140mph.
