Ok, i'm confused.
When we were with our parent company (Leggett & Platt) we had Exchange 2007 on our side and utilised Google's Postini service as our spam/virus filter on email traffic and it was fantastic, truly great system.
There was a management buyout of our company and now we're looking at getting Postini ourselves for our email spam/virus filtering service. However, it appears (i was told by "Chris" at Google) that they no longer offer such a standalone service, you need to be using Google Apps for Business now...
Is there a chance i got a complete numpty? Or is this the case?
What i wanted (and what Postini website seems to suggest!) is this:
• Change our MX records to Google’s Postini service
• They filter all traffic and quarantine
• Deliver remaining traffic to our Exchange server as normal (via ip given)
• Users / Mailboxes have their own Postini accounts to admin their mail and spam filter/quarantine
Anyone know if this not possible anymore?
