So it looks a cert that we’re gonna have two weeks of postponed fixtures in one of the most packed seasons ever. We now won’t have any prem until early October. That means a max of around 8 rounds until the WC, which means we have to squeeze 24 rounds in from Boxing Day until the end of the season, about 23 weeks, plus Europe and FA Cup.

Gonna be a real survival of the fittest

I honestly think they will go ahead. It was a mistake cancelling this weekends considering every other sport went ahead with their fixtures. People are going to be ****** off if they cancel next weekends games as well. let the fans go, sing the anthem etc and then have the day off on Monday. At least they can't cancel the European games mid week.
It’s about the policing though. The FA won’t have a choice if the police say they cannot adequately police the games.

The funeral is Monday. Spurs play on Saturday so that isn't an issue, so they just have 2 games on Sunday that are kicking off 2.5 hours apart. I'm fairly sure they've already said policing isn't an issue, what makes you think the police can't cope with 2 games on Sunday?
It’s not just the London games though. Extra police will probably be required from all over the country.

Maybe the week the pl season takes its break for the WC? 16th November roughly?
PSV have to agree though. All they have to do is refuse and they’ll probably end up getting a forfeit victory in probably their hardest game. Lucky them.

It comes down to PR as well though. Do they want to be seen refusing to reschedule because of the death of the Queen? The optics aren’t good.

It will be a Saturday - Tuesday - Thursday job. I know Spurs had a few weeks like that during the season before last.

It's the Europa League and Arsenal should have no issues qualifying so they can just put the u17s out anyway.
Apparently we’re trying to shift our home game on 19 oct against city till February and play PSV on that date.
Premier league are open to it, but it needs the agreement of City and PSV.
