Pot Noodle....jesus.

My Dad sometimes buys some pot noodles in-case your just super lazy or hungover to eat proper food and I admit, while they are not to everyone tastes, I like how convenient they are.

Now I saw he bought some new Pot Noodle GTi things and there was chicken tikka masala. A few days passed and I was starving with literally NO food left in the house. It looks sort of appealing so I decided to go for it.

MY GOD, it was freaking horrible, when does noodles even go with chicken tikka masala? I felt sick after two mouthfulls so I just chucked it and went off to shout at my Dad.

Please don't buy it, actually, buy it, taste how freaking horrible it is. And no, while I cook well I'm not a food snob, I actually like McDonalds and my local Chicken shop

Tiger Tiger Cup Noodles are the only thing like this that I buy, they're pretty good. Haven't had an actual Pot Noodle in years, and I've got no real desire to change that.

My mate at Uni used to eat them on toast when he was ****ed. Surprisingly tasty it turns out, but once in a blue moon is enough. I used to like the posh noodles they did, not seen those in years though.

River Cottage has some recipes for how to make a proper homemade version of these, always meant to try it out because they looked really nice.

I understand the ones were you pour water in is actually not bad, but I'm talking about the ones you stick in the microwave....avoid.

Golden Wonder noodles were good, but they seemed to disappear and supermarkets only sell Super Noodles now. There used to be a few other good brands around, but they've seemingly all vanished. Shame really, I find Super Noodles are disgustingly soggy and bland.

It requires hot water and a wee sachet of sauce to be added, its not going to be top dollar food!

I ate a ridiculous amount of them during 2002. Seemed to go through a pot noodle phase. Had one nearly every other day at work for lunch.

Not as keen on then now though. Only really like the chicken and mushroom one now.

I love the bombay bad boy noodles, they just have plenty of flavour, and the right texture
