Pot Noodle

I once went camping, and had a kettle that you could power with the car. I was very hungry and had a pot noodle, I waited about 20 mins for the water to boil and finally though oh it must be done, there was steam and everything. I poured it over the pot noodle, waited 4 mins or so and found the water to not be very hot at all. The noodles were still quite solid but I was so hungry that I scoffed it anyway.

does anyone know what happen to pot noodles anyhow ?

did they just change the reciepe or cut down on the sauce to make it taste so oorrible

I wonder exactly how far up the class ladder a person has to be before it is the norm to reach adulthood without ever having eaten a pot noodle.
From a working class family myself and never eaten one, no junk food/ other ****e like that in my house. All proper home cooked/ healthy food.
Not a ready meal in sight.

And, joy of joys, I'm a student.

I've had 9p asda noodles at a festival before but I didn't buy them, someone handed me a cup when I was hung over. It was pretty much what I expected, flavourless noodles in a slightly dodgey broth.
I don't see why people eat them but it's each to their own, if they like it then why not.
