Potential bottleneck????

Sometime in the next few weeks, i want to upgrade my x1950pro to a 4850 card to run better at 22" resolutions.

My only concern is the possibility of the C2D i have overclocked being a potential bottleneck.

Do you guys think it will be?



I know most will say upgrade to a quad core chip but my funds limit me to one upgrade which will be the GFX card.

You will be fine. Having a quad core will only make a real differance on 3D Mark and wouldnt really be noticeable in games

Crysis (played demo but struggled on anything with any decent detail on my x1950)
