Potential bottlenecks of this systems

So,

Q6600
4gb ram
60gb SSD
7770 (1gb)

Gaming at 1440x900 (19" monitor)

Gave my brother-in-law a free upgrade to his existing pc that was:
core2duo
2gb ram
mechanical hdd
8500GT

With the 7770 from OCUK he got Far Cry 3 and the discount for MOH:W, which he will buy. I'm assuming the card will handle anything he throws at it due to the less than full HD resolution he'll be gaming at.

However, due to the much better system he's now running, he may want to then go to a 1920x1080 screen.

What then do you think the limits will be and where will the system bottleneck?
1gb GPU on full HD resolution?
CPU?

Thanks for any input.

Where the bottleneck lies would be more depended on what games he plays and settings he used.

If he plays mmos, the bottleneck would more likely be on the CPU side; for the more recently FPS that would use 4 cores or more however, I think the bottleneck would be more on the graphic card side than CPU when putting the Q6600 vs 7770 on a scale. However 7770 is probably not meant to be playing those games with ultra graphic settings anyway...when graphic setting is set to medium~high, some CPU bottleneck might occurance might become noticable occasionally due to the lesser stress placed on the graphic side comparing to Ultra.

Open up task manager or something similar whilst playing a game and check your CPU usage. Same goes for the GPU, except open up a GPU monitoring programme.
