After some advice, noticed something last night that looked like a dead pixel on my HZ27WC. Thing is it moves, looks like it’s behind the panel and not on the glass. Thoughts?

The only solution I have ever heard working with this is to unplug your monitor and put it in a room with ZERO natural light and with just one light source (i.e a lamp etc).

The bug should try and work its way out of your monitor towards the light source.

WHATEVER you do....dont squish it!

Sorry, it doesn't move by itself it's been in the same place for two days now. What I meant it moves with your head, I placed the mouse pointer over it to show that as I moved the camera it doesn't stay in the same place.

This happened to me once a time ago.

It was a bug....I squished it trying to 'clean' it off the exterior with a cloth.

I had to get rid of the monitor, it would have bothered me too much.

I'm happy to try and take it apart and see if I can sort it.

I've cleaned them out before just ensure when you split the panel you lift and clean the layer you need and lift it as little as you can.

I normally just lift the layer and slide a brand new microfibre cloth in and clean away and quickly reseal it.

This will help minimise the risk of dust.

Thanks for the tip.
