Hi,
I've got a Lenovo T400 sitting on my desk, and the screen is so dark that I can't see what is going on. I have to use the flashlight on my phone to be able to interact with it.
Now, if I hook it up to an external monitor it works fine. I am currently remoting in to test things.
Loaded Device Manager and it was showing that the two display adapters driver - Mobile Intel(R) 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Coproration - WDDM 1.1) had issues.
I disabled them etc and nothing.
I then uninstalled them completely and nothing. Scanned for hardware changes and it found it, installed new drivers and the screen lit up for 15-20 seconds then went dark again.
Now, if i disable the drivers the screen lights up for 20 seconds, goes dark.
If I then enable the drivers the screen lights up for 20 seconds and goes dark...
Any ideas?
FYI - adjusting screen brightness with function keys does nothing. Boot screen + windows loading screen are fine.
