Potential HDD issue

Hey guys

Over the last few days on start up windows has been checking my drive for bad sectors, its brings up no errors and boots as normal. its dont this around 3 times in the last 2 days. anybody got any advice? :confused:

oh yeah its windows 7

Does the drive make any loud clicking noises? or crashing sounds

Test the drive with data diagnostic tool for any errors

nah just its standard noise really. yeah shows no errors

sometimes it can do this if it isnt shutting down properly

Yeah it was my secondary drive that was causing the issue. I just transferred the data to my external hdd and formatted it. Its solved the issue
