Obviously I'm not going to be ordering this now, but I think I'm going to build a new PC for Crysis after just reading a review on it in PC Gamer. :o

I promised myself I wouldn't upgrade again as well.. :(

I'm hoping the price of this will come down by the time I'd come to order.. I just need to be able to play this at decent settings. :(

I've fallen a bit out of touch with current hardware, so any advice is greatly appreciated. Currently running a 3800X2, 7600GT and 1GB of DDR.. So a complete rebuild would be nice.

Also, please bear in mind that this will be being ordered in a few months, I'd just like to get some idea of price. :)

Thanks

Corsair HX 520W can power that rig fine unless you want to go SLi. & wput the money towards a bigger screen size. 19" is wasted on a 8800 GTX :)

BlackDragon, the Xeon 3200 Series is Kentsfield A.K.A. Core 2 Quad :D

Not worth speccing a pc until you have all the money together and your ready to order their and then. Prices change so much in the computer industry.

Thanks for the replies. :)

I wanted to go for a 680i board solely because it's the best Core 2 chipset out at the moment as far as I know.

Quite like the idea of going for a 520W (if that will definitely be enough to power it), and getting a bigger monitor. :)

And I do agree, not REALLY worth specing now, but I read the magazine article and HAD to get something down. :(
