Just a quick question for anyone who owns this.

Can you please check the disks for any signs of diskrot for me please.

*it's that cloudy looking layer like condensation on the disk*

Can you then post if you have it or not and roughly when you bought the disk.

My S3 dvd is now unplayable. But all other series appear to be ok. :(

Thanks chaps/chappetts

Just checked mine, also bought on release day, and although it appears more 'marked' than any of the others (disc spin lines etc.) it's definitely playable and nowhere near the state of yours.

Mine is a release day one as well.

Lets just say - that photo is from a year ago....

It's now completely clouded over ike the Terminator and Silence of the Lambs did. That was due to manafacturing problems though. :(

Arse...

You can buy DVDs of just the shows (i.e. no special features/commentaries). Box 1 is series 1-4 and 2 is due out this autumn I believe. Not sure if there's an entire box set of the full DVDs on the cards.

WOW!!

All I can say is well done BBC. :D

Sent an email to [email protected] late saturday night.

Got a responce this morning saying that they have not had any reports of this and asking for my postal address so they can send me another copy. :D

Fabulous!

Have sent an email asking them if they want my fubar'd copy so they can take a look at it to find out whats going on.

Hopefully it's just a one off for them.
