Potential Upgrade

Hi all,

Getting to the point where my desktop is slowing down too much for my liking, not sure why but I have tried reinstalling win10 and its still struggling. I mostly use it as a work station and for audio production and modelling

Current specs are:

i5 3570k
16gb RAM
GTX 970
Lepa 750w PSU
couple of 128gb corsair SSDs in RAID 0

Don't do masses of gaming currently, but do do a bit so the GPU is probably fine to keep and reuse.

What would be the best upgrade path really? Looking to spend probably up to £1200 max, wouldn't mind a new case too as my current one is huge.

Are you wanting to upgrade or build new?

You are still on old motherboard with DDR3 RAM i think? looking at the specs.

Not really economic or viable to do an upgrade on a DDR3 system unless it just SSD's etc. I am in the same boat with an DDR3 system so will just be building new in a few years time.
