So I have my PC/monitor connected to a Belkin surge protector and this morning the surge protector was off, long story short it seems the sockets tripped - but now my PC won’t start. I’ve changed cables to no avail. It’s the original Corsair AX1200 PSU - have I missed anything else worth trying? Can’t remember exactly how old it is, but it’s quite old now. Looking back, I was playing cs go until about 1am, I turned my pc off but do remember hearing a bang...when the pc was off.
if it is the PSU - what’s worth buying these days?
Edit: Yep, PSU is 10 years old.

Presume you've tried the obvious like a new extension lead/socket, flicking the PSU switch off/on - does the PSU itself smelt burnout at all?
