IMO its worth the extra, the GTX's are absoloute monsters I'm pretty sure you'd notice the difference.
 
OK, so tell me what game the 8800GTS can't do justice to? before you say "Crysis" by the time it comes out the next generation of cards will probably be here.

I don't dispute the GTS cant do justice but the GTX takes it to another level and personally I'd spend the £93 to get there.
