Moved over from my ATI 5850 to a 470, and so far so good. Nice and stable, great drivers - other than picture quality issues, very happy. Not a great deal of difference in performance in games, but I have noticed that min framers are better, and sputtering that occasionally happens on 5850 has gone. Deffo smoother.

I'm on 750 core on stock volts stable in Furmark/Kombuster, albeit with temps of 92deg eek, and I have a feeling I got a goodun :)

I'm running standard fan profile - so no doubt I can get the card cooler.

So... cards that are capable of doing 750 on stock volts - how high are you ultimately going?

Yeah push for 800, you will need some extra volts for this clock I would say, if you can keep temps under control with a more aggressive fan profile then you may get more than 800, 850?

Bump the volts up to 1.087 and set the core to 800/1600, job done. 60% on the fan should be sufficient, although using kombuster to heat the card up and setting a custom fan profile is the best option. To give you an idea I can bench at 900 with 1.100v but it's not really stable for gaming so I run 800-850 depending on the game. Clocking the memory seems to make little difference at my res (1080p) so I keep it conservative.
