Powder Coating

Hi everyone,

Am thinking of getting a Cosmos S for the next build that I do (whenever that may be). Does anyone know how much it would cost to get it powder coated; just the inside bits as they're all a nasty, un-painted silver.

£10 - £15 tops

Look and try at some motorcycle or car wheel powdercoaters

its the prep work that takes much time(and then money) not the actual powder coat.

Fair enough, I suppose it's worth go then (if and when I do a build in a Cosmos S), I have just seen lots of people who have managed to spend a shed load getting it done by people who (I guess) overcharge.

If you can prep the case your self so that it is easy for them to apply the coating then it should cost next to nothing

What is involved in prepping as a matter of interest?

The panels need to be etch primed.

I know I guy that can do it ive had all my cases done by him if your interested fire me a trust pm and ill help you out.
