I'd like to see a more real world comparison of 3dMark06, at default settings it is totally removed from what we use in game so lets see results at 1600x1200 or 1680x1050 witrh 4xAA and 16XAF.

Please include o/s.

I'll kick off

Vista 64 bit ultimate, e8500@4Ghz, 4GB ram, 8800GT@750/1800/2020
SM2: 3671
SM3: 2856
CPU: 3563
Total: 8264

I'll do a 1080p run when I get home.

PS. With the AA there's also another option underneath with 'AA Quality' - anyone have any idea what difference, if any this makes?

You can adjust that between 0 and 2 when non-maskable AA is selected. Not sure what nonmaskable is, but I don't think it gives better IQ than 4x AA

3870x2 and 3850 in tri xfire.
I will easily clear 14k maybee closer to, once I have overclocked these cards.
Tri xfire works really well in high rez with AA on, as on the normal tests there is not a great deal of difference, but runs really well on high detail.

well it seems that overclocking these cards to there max does not yeild the best results.
been doing some more testing raised clocks to 857/1044 any higher less score.
So now at
14100
sm2 6181
sm3 7220
cpu 2973
Dont think I can get much more, but this is nearly comparable to a defualt bench score, so very happy with the scaling of these cards at high rez.
I am sure a highly clocked quad exeeding 4 ghz would be an ideal cpu for this GPU setup

I think Fornowagain seen CPU bottlenecking at 4.5Ghz still .

On defaults I only get 15589 so must be CPU limited on this setup.

update got 14166 now
