Tommy Egan cuts all ties and puts New York in his rearview mirror for good when he arrives in Chicago and sets his sights on becoming the biggest drug dealer the Second City has ever seen.

First episode aired today

I am confused. I first watched the original Power and I know there was one with that useless son of his. So this is a different one focused on Tommy?

I haven’t seen the trailer above yet as I’m at work.

Yes it's takes place straight after the final Ghost arc from the original series. Focuses on Tommy and his journey after New York.

Yes there has been two seasons about the Son, Power Book ll: Ghost Season 1 & Power Book ll: Ghost Season 2. Both carry on from after the original Power

One season about a young Kanan, Power Book lll, Raising Kanan. This is obviously before the main Power

and now the new Tommy one Power Book lV Force. Carries on from the original Power

All been pretty good, probably the Tommy one has been the best one for me though

IIRC they were looking to do a few spin-offs with a focus on the main characters.

I did enjoy power but I just feel that many spin-offs won't be any good, so not even entertaining to watch them.

Thank you gents. Going to watch it now as I loved Tommy, he was the only one who held the final season of Power together imo.

Edit: First episode was excellent. The gent playing Tommy is just too good and the brotherly moment was hilarious.

Edit: Upto date now. Really enjoying things as the show doesn’t delve into lol that family/kiddie/charity rubbish that Power had.

I just started PB3 last night. For some reason I didn’t realise it had come out. At least I have that to binge on as well. Only watched one episode so far but it’s also looking good.
